Below are the braces options we offer, for your consideration.

Traditional Metal Braces

Even with the staggering range of orthodontic technology available today, our most popular treatment option is the modern version of old reliable: traditional metal braces. Traditional metal braces are composed of a series of small metal brackets with a thin metal archwire running between them, secured with elastic ties, and apply delicate pressure to shift the teeth gradually into alignment. Traditional metal braces are made from stainless steel for unbeatable stability and are thin, attractive, and comfortable in their modern iteration.

Clear Braces

Clear braces are just like traditional metal braces, except that the brackets are not steel but are instead made from a clear ceramic composite material that blends in with the color of your teeth. This means that clear braces are significantly less visible than traditional metal braces, providing an aesthetically pleasing treatment option with the same reliability of traditional braces. The only drawback is that ceramic braces are slightly more fragile than metal braces and require more visits to our office, but for older patients seeking a discreet treatment option, clear braces are a strong option.

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces work the same way as traditional braces, and are also made of stainless steel, but they're the only completely-invisible treatment option on the market. Because the brackets are mounted to the back side (tongue side) of the teeth, they're impossible to see when the mouth is closed! This makes lingual braces the most discreet treatment on the market by far. They are slightly more expensive and require a little more getting used to than traditional braces, but the results are beautiful.

Self-Ligating Braces

Self-ligating braces, also called Damon Braces, look like traditional metal braces without the little rubber bands. They use a special form of self-ligating bracket that doesn't require an elastic tie to hold the archwire in place. The wire is allowed to slide freely within the brackets during treatment, allowing for more efficient tooth movement and improving overall comfort. Self-ligating braces require fewer office visits, and we offer them with clear or metal brackets.

Clear Aligners

If you want a discreet and removable treatment option, clear aligners are the best on the market. Clear aligners use a series of clear, removable aligners that fit over the teeth like a clear retainer. The aligners are nearly impossible to see when worn and are easy to pop in and out for eating, drinking, and oral hygiene. Almost no one will know you're straightening your teeth, you can still enjoy your favorite foods and care for your teeth with nothing in the way. While clear aligners aren't used to treat severe malocclusions, it's an excellent option for patients seeking a convenient and discreet way to improve their smile.
